The Nissan Versa is a compact car offering a lot of space for not a lot of money.
The five door hatchback can comfortably fit five adults thanks to it’s box shape frame.
In fact, the Versa has more room in the back than many mid-size sedans. How many other compacts can claim that?
It gets up to 33 miles per gallon on the highway from it’s 122 hp 1.8 liter DOHC engine.
Though not a lot of power compared to other cars, it’s fairly lightweight at 2500 pounds which makes it seem more powerful than it really is.

Free Cars

June 4, 2011

Want to drive a car for free?

There are companies out there giving away cars for free to people who qualify. In return you agree to drive the car for a specific period of time with advertisements displayed all around the vehicle.

But are these cars really for free? Not really because you have to return the car at the end of the agreement. The good part is you only pay for gas and insurance. The program is perfect for those just looking to get from point A to point B.

There are two types of programs available. You can either drive your own car and get paid to drive or you can drive a company issued car for free.

Personally, I would rather drive my own car and get paid for it.

It was quick in a straight line and also performed well on twisty roads. I was having a blast with the car until it started to break down.

Tire Bulge

May 16, 2011

Yesterday I found out that one of my tires had a bulge on the sidewall.

I wasn’t aware of it until somebody pointed it out to me. It’s not easy to see the bulge unless you’re looking at the tire up close.

The steel belt inside of the tire has broken causing structural damage. The tire cannot be repaired and needs to be replaced as soon as possible.

I’m sure many of you have seen this before because it mainly happens when you hit a deep pothole. Ouch.
