Here is a 2000 Toyota Camry with 206K miles for sale on eBay. This is an LE model with a 2.2 liter four cylinder engine creating 133 hp. This might not seem like much power but these 4 cylinder Toyotas are quite peppy.
My father has a 1992 Camry with a 4 cylinder engine with well over 200K miles on it and it runs almost as well as my 6 cylinder Camry.
According to the owner the timing belt, water pump, brakes, struts and radiator was recently replaced.
Interestingly the exterior and interior have been completely redone. The seats and carpets have been replaced and the car has a new paint job.
Not sure why an owner would overhaul a Camry that is over a decade old. If I were looking to buy this car I would definitely check for any history of accidents or flood damage.
The bidding is currently at 3K with two days left in the auction.
But based on the recent maintenance I would say this car is worth $3500. Though the mileage is somewhat high, these cars can go at least 300K with routine maintenance.
I’m not a fan of two-tone paint but I must say this car doesn’t look half bad. There were subtle design changes to the 2000 Camry. Though the design changes are subtle I think it looks much better than it’s predecessor.
Car looks like it’s showroom new. It’s hard to believe a twelve year old car can look this new.
Don’t care for the rear spoiler but doesn’t look too bad on the car. Do you like the rear wing?
The leather seats look great and are in immaculate condition. I’m not sure if these are the factory seats as the owner stated that the seats were replaced.
The seats don’t look cheap either. They look like they are pretty high in quality.
Did I mention these seats look great? I wish my Camry had this interior. I have plain old cloth seats.
What do you think this car is worth?
